Brooke now weighs 5lb 7.6oz!!! She is gaining weight everyday. Today they took out the NG tube in her nose which was there for her feeds. She is taking the bottle so much better! Today I got to give her a bath all by myself which went better than expected. I love the baths because afterwards she is wide awake! Doctors are starting to make a discharge plan so hopefully Brooke will be coming home soon!!!
So Ryan and I have been asked where Brooke's name came from? Brooke and Sloane was something Ryan came up with...and I loved them also!!! Brooke's Hebrew name is Dora Chavah after my (Kimberly) paternal grandmother (Doris Padawer) and Ryan's maternal grandmother (Evelyn Leeds).
Hopefully next time I post Brooke will be coming home!!
The pictures are wonderful. One can see Brooke developing and changing with each week...glad to hear that she is eating better and gaining weight......love the pictures of you or Ryan holding her.....adorable little girl. Love you!!!! Aunt Sherry
