Well summer is over...well kinda it is still 70-90 degrees in Dallas!!! With the end of summer came to start of a new busy time....High Holidays! I blogged on Rosh Hashanah last time and since then we have had Yom Kippur (or as Brooke knows it day to say sorry), Sukkot, and Simcah Torah!!! Brooke is still brainwashed and talking about apples and honey but she also really understood the other holidays too!!!
We opted to have Yom Kippur services at our house with Temple Israel! Ryan and I went to Temple Emanuel services the night before and had a delicious meal at Mitzi and Rick's to start our fast.
and then during the service Brooke decided she would eat this snack and try to stick it in my face....so mean when mommy is hungry from fasting!
We then hosted Break the Fast at our house!!!
I made a Kugel!
Then it was time for Sukkah!!! I slacked on pictures of the Sukkahs we visited!
We went to the JET event and got to eat pizza in the Sukkah, bounce house, magic person, and snow cones. Later in the evening we got to eat in the Sukkah at the Shulkins. Was so sweet of them to invite us!
