Kahn's Can!: Presents and stockings on my!!!

So you might remember I wrote about the stockings that Ryan's grandma (GG) made for each family member but I forgot to take pictures...well my awesome mother-in-law without me asking rehung the stockings and took picture for me to post on here!!!

Each picture symbolizes something about the person...on mine there is a bathing suit because I was a swimmer, rose because Ryan proposed to me by asking if I would accept the final rose...Brooke's is a strawberry because she LOVES strawberries

Brooke got very use to lighting the menorah each night and then receiving a gift...

Last night of Hanukkah...the one on the right Brooke made at school!

She did not want to take a picture...she was ready to open a present!

DADDY'S BIRTHDAY!!!

Ryan turned 35 on Thursday December 5th. It was quite an eventful day with the incoming ice but we still made it out to celebrate with his family!

Ryan's mom is creative...this is how they told Ryan to pick out shoes for his birthday present.

Last week Brooke was sick on Monday and had no school, had no school on Wednesday because of parent/teacher conferences, and then Friday no school because of ice. Did I mention she goes to school M/W/F...needless to say we needed interaction with others so we got to go see Brooke's friend Bennett and Mrs. Barbara (his grandma who was in town from Memphis)...
