Kahn's Can!: Summer FUN!

Summer is going by so quickly!!!

We had everyone over for Father's Day and Brooke helped make the food!

We escaped for a little while on Father's Day to see Pinkalicious!!! Thanks Grandma it was awesome!

of course intermission included cupcakes...which she ate the icing off and then said "here"

when you get pool toys for father's day it only appropriate to open them in the pool!

Brooke made this with her OT Mrs. Amy...so cute and creative...not to mention all the fine and visual motor skills it includes!

Northwestern Mutual quarterly couples night!!!

So every few months we get together with 5 other couples (the guys work together at Northwestern) and one couple host dinner and activities. Each night gets more and more interesting...love these people!

we had a series of games...this one was sucking m&m with a straw.

My parents celebrated their Anniversary on June 26th!

more OT fun for fourth of July!

so I wanted to get my nails done and brough my sidekick. First time to sit in a chair...she had youtube, slurpee, and massage chair think she liked it?

and I did not get a picture but they are red, white, and blue!

so this trip my dad had an agenda he sent out on text...first stop farmer's market downtown...

followed by breakfast at the Arcade!

followed by a bike ride through downtown to mud island. Dad/Paupau pushed Brooke in the stroller and met us there!

then a stop at Bass Pro Shops which is in the Pyramid!

we did not stop but passed Gus's famous fried chicken!

Girls and Seth Trip!!!

So Ryan, Lucky and I head back to Dallas on 7/5 and Brooke stayed to spend some time in Memphis!After getting back I flew out on Thursday to Kansas City to visit friends, babies, husbands, and dogs/cats!

First stop was with my dear friend Katie and her precious family. Yes I took a selfie with each kiddo! Katie taught me a good portion of what I know about pediatric OT when we worked at OCH together many moons ago. She moved to KC to be closer to family and a professor of OT!

and she is pregnant with number 2...a girl!!! so excited for her!

Next stop my college friend Lauren and her sweet Ava!

Lauren and I drove to Omaha to see our friend Diana but made a pit stop in Lawrence, KS where we to school! A picture in front of the sorority house.

so the humor of this picture was not captured like I had hoped but this is AePi and right now they are putting big tall buildings in front of it...which is sad because you use to be able to see the stadium...but lined up in front of the house were like 8 porta potties :)

So sad...all I wanted was Quintons for lunch and they were closed for remodeling!!!

so settled on Diana's favorite pizza place Papa Kenos!

was so yummy! and we got a piece to go for Diana...think we made her day!

Lawrence was so different lots of tall buildings, lots of new campus buildings, but still love that little town!
