On January 1, 2016 we went to Jamaica with the Padawers...Didi, Paupau, Uncle Kevin and Aunt Samantha...We were lucky enough to go for 10 days....We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva in Montego Bay. We could not have asked for better company or weather. The resort was awesome with good food, good drinks (once we found Garrett the bartender), fun shows, and even a kids area which Brooke kinda liked. We all had fun but Brooke for sure had the most fun. We could not get her out of the pool and she was so tired she did not even argue to nap (even took a nap on a pool chair one day)!Sorry for the long post but we were there for a long time! FYI...these are so out of order :)

Hyatt Ziva...so on the way from the airport to the resort we learned that the Hyatt Ziva use to be the Ritz-Carlton...That is when Ryan realized he had stayed at the same place!

We had the most fabulous housekeeper...The first day she met Brooke and everyday after she made her towel animals and left notes and goodies!

This is one of the babysitters from the Kidz Club...she was soooo sweet to Brooke everytime she saw her! Brooke went to the club a few times because she wanted to and a few times because we all wanted a peaceful dinner!!! The club was great they took the kids to the buffet and feed them and then to the disco!

At night there were shows including Michael Jackson, international night, talent show, bands...Brooke would ask about the show every night...yes she took a nap late just so she could stay up for the shows. After the show they had a little dance party each night. The Jamaicans seem to be big on doing line dances to songs...here is Samantha learning one...she is a bit more coordinated than the other Padawers.

We took two day trips. One to Ocho Rios and one the Negril. In Ocho Rios we did Dunn Rivers falls which is a huge water fall, then ate some true Jamaican food, then hit up a local beach with the locals and finally after it turned dark went to the Blue lagoon! In Negril we stopped at the beach at Margaretville, little shopping, and Rick's place (picture below).

So there is a place called the blue Lagoon...it is where ocean water meets river water and the combination causes the water to glow when moved at night. we went on a boat and then got to get out and swim....every time you moved in the water it would glow...I did a lot of moving because you could feel the bottom which was a gross mud!!! Unfortunately we could not get the camera to capture this...the only
