whoa...summer is almost over!

oh wow...every once in a while I get SOOOO behind blogging and today is one of those times! WARNING...this post is long. I have not blogged since our crazy busy part of the summer started!!! After school let out in June Brooke went to camp  for a bit then we headed to Memphis for 4th of July crazy weekend!!! After the weekend was over Ryan, Lucky and I headed back for Dallas but Brooke stayed to hang out!!! While she was gone I started a new job at another Home Health agency  (just picking up some kiddos at another company but also staying at my current company ) and Ryan and I took a weekend trip to Frederickburg, TX (texas wine country). I then headed to Memphis for a week before bringing Brooke back to Dallas. Brooke then started camp again and pretty soon school starts!!! Where did the summer go?
Braum's fum!

finally summer!

So for over a year I have been going to a workout class called Danceton...I literally look forward to working out...which is not usually the case...this is Gaby she developed this class and is one of the most energetic, fun people I have ever met. This was at her last class in Dallas because she is going to be on Broadway in Panama...so excited for her but so sad for me....Luckily she has trained other instructors and the class lives on!!! The class is also suppose to go worldwide soon...so excited for that! (Gaby loves to do flash mobs...so at her last class the class flash mobbed her to Dancing Queen)

Heaven!!! Brooke went to her friends birthday party and Elsa and Anna were there!

They dressed up like princesses and played princess games she loved it!

dinner the first night was so yummy!

the next day we did a wine tour where we went to 4 wineries in the hill country!

We visited Texas Hill wine, Lewis Wines, Calais, and Compass Ross with lunch at Hyde market

actually an old but functioning post office and now a restaurant too!

This is Calais winery and this one is under ground and the man you see here built everything you see by himself and makes the wine by himself...he use to be based in Deep Elm in Dallas!

so cool how you go underground!

we were on our wine tour with one other couple from Houston! This is at Compass Rose!

All of us with our tour guide

Frederickburg is a very cute little town.

  1. I'm exhausted from all the activities, but, love seeing all the fun you've had this summer. Brooke has lost the baby looks and is now a beautiful little girl. She is so lucky to have so many wonderful experiences and such a loving family. Enjoyed your blog as always....love you all! Aunt Sherry
