Oh where to begin!!!! I am so behind on blogging so this post is going to be all over the place!!!
Purim FUN!!!
Purium at school!!! The teachers dressed up to tell the story and Brooke dressed as Sofia the 1st!
Purium fun continues with making Hamentashens or in Brooke's case eating chocolate chips (that were just put into the Hamenstashen) and licking the spatuala! Lets just say mommy did most of the cooking!
Brooke's class leads Havdallah and Shabbat!
Leading Havdallah!
Each class leads Shabbat on Friday during the school year. They stand at the table at the front and lead the service and sing a song!
FROZEN ON ICE
While my mom was in town Frozen on Ice was in town too!!! We did not tell Brooke where we were going until we got there! Needless to say she was very excited! She asked questions the entire first half but loved the entire show...even got to see some of her favorite princess on ice also!
My birthday!
Such a fun birthday including: birthday dinner @ Lawry's, brunch at Coal Vines, a baby naming for a good friend, Brooke's first hair cut, and dinner at Spork and cookie cake!
The Towbins are good friends of ours. I grew up with Hal and went to college with Laynie. This past Sunday they celebrated their little girls 1st birthday, baby naming and their little boy Bennett Cancerversary. One year ago he was diagnosed with Leukemia. They are such a strong and inspirational family! We are so excited to finally get to play with Bennett again!
Brooke's 1st haircut!
Can't you see the excitement on her face? She was so excited to get her haircut but got a little nervous....nothing drastic just got a trim :)
Getting ready for the Passover Sedar!
Matza bakery!
Daddy and Grandma went to the Passover Sedar with Brooke! They told the story of Passover and enjoyed a little sedar of their own.
First trip to the dentist!!!
Brooke saw Dr. Frysch yesterday for her 1st trip to the dentist. We had already rescheduled because our first appointment was when we had icy weather...but momma was dreading this appointment. I can honestly say it could not have gone any better. Dr. Frysch and his dental hygienist were AMAZING with Brooke. They made everything fun and explained everything. She got a good report and lots of goodies-no sugar of course!
Just some fun pictures....
Brooke prepared herself a snack...frozen French toast sticks...
"Mommy I want these!" Hard to see but they are sequenced UGG boots...so I don't think so!
