December is always super busy for us with Ryan's birthday, Brooke's birthday, and the holidays!!!

This year Brooke was old enough to help light the candles and understand Hanukah...we tried to make sure she understood it was not just about the presents but that was hard with Hanukah and her birthday at the same time...she stills asks for presents!

This is a tradition on Ryan's mom's side of the family. Ryan's grandmother use to sew each sequence on the stockings. Each stocking has items that represent that person. Ryan's grandmother passed away last year but the tradition has continued with Ryan's mom (Mitzi) and aunt (Cheryl) making the stockings. At Hanukah everyone attending brings stocking stuffers...small presents...we then open each stocking one by one...a very unique Hanukah tradition!
