Katie's Baby Shower!!!

 

My friend Lisa and I recently hosted a baby shower for my super OT friend Katie. Katie was my mentor at OCH and taught me so much about OT and kiddos. She has since moved to KC (yes she is huge KU fan!) to be a professor of OT but recently came back to Dallas to visit and we got to invite all her old friends for a shower to honor Baby Bloomer!!!

 

This picture was a challenge but so glad we got it!!! Every person in this picture is either an OT, ST, or PT!!! Love my therapist friends!

My mom came to town last Tuesday and insisted that Ryan and I go out! We ventured out to a restaurant that we had never been to called Meddlesome Moth. It is kind of tapas and was very good!

THE CIRCUS!!!

On Sunday Brooke went to her first circus!!! She was glued to it for the first 30 minutes then pretty much enjoyed watching the animals!

Daddy was so excited to take Brooke to the circus...he was a bit bummed because he wanted her to try her first cotton candy but we opted out when we saw it was $14...popcorn was just fine....

 

Good thing we did not get the $14 cotton candy...while at Walmart the next day I saw cotton candy for $2 so I got a bag for Brooke and Ryan...Brooke said it was yucky!

This is Dusty my mom's dog he comes each time Didi comes...he puts up with A LOT!

but Lucky tells him there are definitely perks to the kid...
