I just realized I never told everyone our family's exciting news!!! (well a few things!)
My Brother is getting married!!!!
He got engaged August 23rd and we could not be more excited for them!

Everyday is another adventure with Brooke...She has become quite the talker!!! Her favorite word is "no"! She amazes us everyday with things she knows and does...her are a few that stick out in our minds...
1. Sitting at the dinner table in Memphis and I told my dad Brooke does not like to listen but she responds well if I scream...as I said that Brooke began to scream...she understood what the word scream meant!!!
2. While getting Brooke ready for bed I started singing "If you are happy and you know it" and out of nowhere Brooke clapped on the part that says "If you are happy and you know it clap your hands"!!!
3. While getting ready for nap I asked Brooke what book she wanted to read. I said you want to read "Ten little ladybugs" one of her favorites but we do not read it that often...she went over to the bookshelf and got it out!
Guess lots of these were WOW moments when we realize our little girl is growing up or as her Uncles would say is becoming a real person!
