Wow I have not blogged in forever!!!! Oh where to begin....
I will be 29 weeks on Wednesday!!!
We have an offer on our house!!!!! Please keep you fingers crossed everything goes well. We are set to close on December 15th and move out by December 29th. We have not yet found a house but are hoping to soon!
Ryan and I are both now infant/child CPR trained. We took a class on November 2nd and learned a lot!!! We are now looking forward to our next class...Basics of Baby Care!!
I had a super cute/sweet baby shower on November 13th given by two friends Diana Williams (close college friend/sorority sister) and Lisa Gindy (close Dallas/work friend). The shower was at Lisa's house and was perfect (pictures to come soon). I mean what more can you ask for then a delicious Jewish Feast, cake, cake balls, family, friends, games that involved great advice, and more cute girly stuff than you can ever imagine!!! Not only did I get to have Diana come in from Minnesota for the shower but my mom came from Memphis, cousin Shelby came from New York, and Lauren Dovner (college friend) came in from KC. Needless to say I needed an entire week to recover!I felt like I got to have a 2nd bachelorette party non-alcoholic of course!!!
Oh and Baby Kahn is doing great!! Mom and Shelby got to stick around on the Monday following the shower and go with me to the doctor for a sonogram. Dr. Magee put on quite a show measuring the baby (even though it was not a week to do this) who is weighing 2.5lbs, letting mom play with the baby's feet on the sonogram (she gave her a little kick back), and giving us lots of good information. Dr. Magee then informed us that Baby Kahn will need to be delivered around 38 weeks. 38 week is considered full term and due to my Lupus it will just be safer to take the baby then. I spoke with my OBGYN and looks like if all goes as planned Baby Kahn will be making her debut on January 26th...WHOA that is soon!! For now she is growing a lot (because I am getting larger!) and kicking like crazy and I love every minute of it!!!

We are so glad to hear that everything is going so well... She will be here before you know it.
